Website checks with Blogtraffic
When you enter a website during registration, Blogtraffic can read its title and description. Linked images and feed addresses are not fetched as part of metadata extraction.
You explicitly request website proof from your own profile using a meta tag, token file or DNS TXT record. Changing the saved website address invalidates its previous proof. This checks control of the saved address, not the quality of its content.
Website checks are separate from page-view tracking. Use the installation code to record views. A recurring article crawler is not offered; the old feed ping service is unavailable.
